Heather Styka & Friends
Indy Folk Series, 615 W 43rd St., Indianapolis, IN
Dern tootn’ I’m Heather’s and Clint’s friend. Have you HEARD these people?
Heather and Clint and I played a couple of shows in Nashville together (The Bluebird Café and Birdsong Studios) and I’ve been anticipating these shows ever since.
Both Heather and Clint play like they had guitars in their hands before they had crayons, and their songs will make you stop dead in your tracks (and hit the repeat button to look for a harmony). Hunt them up on the interwebs and listen.
Looking for bona fides? Both Heather and Clint both played official showcases at the 2015 Southwestern Folk Alliance (Austin), and both were finalists in the 2015 Grassy Hill New Folk Competition (Kerrville).
And what a place to reconvene. This is the INDY FOLK SERIES. Big doins, Folks!
Details (ticket prices, bios, etc.) below. Hope to see you there.
